Nalaga/at Theater Deaf-Blind Acting Ensemble/Not By Bread Alone

From January 16 to February 3, 2013 the New York University Skirball Center for the performing arts will host Nalaga/at for an exclusive run of twenty-four performances of its latest show Not By Bread Alone, as well as additional programs of ancillary workshops and unique culinary experiences (Caf/ Kapish and the blackout restaurant).

In Not By Bread Alone, the world/s only professional deaf-blind acting company takes the audience on a captivating and magical tour of their inner world. as bread is kneaded, formed, and baked on stage, these extraordinary storytellers convey their memories and dreams, mixing reality with fantasy, grandeur with ridicule, in a journey that will ignite your senses, titillate your taste buds and fire your imagination.
